Privacy Policy
Follower Mirror is a personal tool for analyzing account export files that you select. It is not affiliated with Meta or Instagram and is not sponsored, endorsed, or approved by either company.
The app does not ask for Instagram credentials or passwords, sign in to accounts, collect cookies, use access tokens, access private APIs, scrape data, or automate account actions.
Data the app processes
When you select a connections ZIP, JSON, or HTML file, the app processes usernames from the followers and following lists locally. Processed records may include normalized usernames, counts, an import date, an import label, a source hash, local review preferences, and comparisons between imports.
The raw file is read from the location you choose and is not retained after it has been read.
Storage and device authentication
Processed records remain on your device by default. Pro users may enable private iCloud sync. When enabled, only processed data is stored in the user's private CloudKit database and counts against that user's iCloud storage. The developer does not operate a follower-data server.
The optional app lock uses device authentication. Follower Mirror does not collect, receive, transmit, or store Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode data.
Tracking and accuracy limits
This version has no advertising SDK and does not track you across apps or websites for advertising. It does not sell user data or share processed records with Meta or Instagram.
The app does not monitor accounts in real time, retrieve profile data within the app, or determine why a relationship changed. Results only compare the files you select and may not reflect an account's current state.
Deletion and purchases
You can delete individual imports, erase all local data, turn off iCloud sync, and, if you have Pro, delete processed data synced to iCloud from within the app under Settings > Privacy and Data.
Pro is available as an auto-renewable annual subscription or a lifetime non-consumable purchase. Apple manages purchases, renewals, cancellations, charges, refund requests, and restoration through the user's Apple Account. The lifetime purchase does not renew automatically.
